Guardiola quits press conference over England coaching talk

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola on Friday walked out of the team's press conference vexed at questions linking him with the England national team from 2016.

After the first question on the subject, the Spaniard replied bruskly: "Ok, next question, next question please."

He became irritated when the questions continued, snapping; "No, I'm coach at Munich, OK?" before getting up to leave the room.

According to reports in the British press, Guardiola, who has coached the reigning three-time Bundesliga champions since 2013 and whose contract runs until June 2016, could take over as England boss next year.

Current England manager Roy Hodgson's contract expires after Euro 2016, with his future to be discussed after the tournament in France.

The 44-year-old former Barcelona coach Guardiola had also been linked with a move to Premier League side Manchester City last year.

Bayern Munich, who travel to Mainz on Saturday, are currently leading the German league.
