Chievo have announced the sacking of coach Eugenio Corini following the Serie A strugglers' 3-0 defeat to Roma.
Chievo dropped into the relegation zone following the rout at Roma's Olympic Stadium on Saturday, where the 'Flying Donkeys' barely mustered a shot on goal.
A statement from the club said: "Chievo Verona announce that first team coach Eugenio Corini has been relieved of his duties.
"The club would like to thank him for his hard work, professionalism and dedication and wishes him well for the future."
Chievo, based in Verona, sit second from bottom of Italy's top flight having conceded five defeats in seven games.
