Liverpool lead Trophy line-up in Hong Kong
Liverpool and Leicester City will compete for the Premier League Asia Trophy along with Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion in Hong Kong in July, organisers said on Thursday.
The biennial pre-season tournament will feature four Premier League teams for the first time, including Leicester, last year's English champions, and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.
Pre-season tours have become a regular event for top clubs and the four English teams are among a number of European sides visiting Asia in the coming months.
"We are very excited to be returning to Hong Kong this summer for the Premier League Asia Trophy," Premier League executive chairman Richard Scudamore said in a statement.
"In Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion we have a group of excellent clubs, players and managers who will give local fans a fantastic Premier League experience," he added.
